Glossary

The words you meet in Propeller, one line each, with the page that explains them.

TermMeaning
Action HubThe page in the Sales Hub where tasks from AI agents and workflows land as tickets you can pick up, complete or archive. See Action Hub.
AgentAn AI assistant embedded in the Sales Hub or Backoffice. It runs as a chat or a button on the pages it is registered for. See AI Agents.
Authorization limitThe amount a contact may order without approval. Set per contact per company. See User Details.
BackofficeThe part of Propeller where you configure products, prices, customers and rules. The Help Center groups it as the Commerce Hub.
BundleSeveral products sold together at one combined price. See Product Details.
Business ruleA set of conditions and actions that changes an order automatically: a discount, a shipping cost, which carriers show. See Build a business rule.
ClusterOne product page that holds variants such as sizes or colours. See Clusters.
Cluster definitionWhich attributes form the variant selectors of a cluster. See Cluster Definitions.
Cost priceWhat you pay for a product. Used to calculate margin.
Customer specific priceThe price a company, contact or customer pays after their price sheets are applied.
Debtor IDA company's debtor number. Shown on the company and its orders, and searchable in the listings.
EnvironmentOne Propeller installation with its own products, customers and settings. Also called a tenant. You switch between them from the account menu. See Your account.
Event actionAn email or a webhook that fires when something happens, for example when an order is confirmed. See Event Actions.
Favorite listA saved list of products for a company, contact or customer, for quick reordering. See Favorite Lists.
Hit policyWhether a rule applies only the first matching subrule or all of them. See Build a business rule.
IncentiveA business rule that gives a discount, adds a bonus product or awards points. See Incentives.
List priceThe standard price of a product before any customer specific pricing.
Login tokenA link that lets a contact or customer into the webshop without a password. See Login Tokens.
MarginThe difference between the sales price and the cost price, shown as a percentage.
Order listWhich products a company, contact or customer may order. A positive list allows only what is on it; a negative list excludes what is on it. See Order Lists.
Order status setA group of order statuses that shows as one tab on the Orders page. See Order Statuses.
Price groupA group of products you can discount together on a price sheet.
Price sheetDiscount rules assigned to specific companies, contacts, customers or user groups. See Price Sheets.
Primary categoryThe one category a product belongs to first. Category discounts only apply through it. See Categories.
Quote requestA request for a quote, submitted by a contact in the webshop or created by an agent. See Quote Requests.
Sales HubThe part of Propeller where sales reps work: companies, catalogue, quotes, orders and the Action Hub.
SlugThe version of a name used in a web address.
SubruleOne IF and THEN block inside a business rule. A rule can have several.
SurchargeAn extra fee on a product, as a fixed amount or a percentage. See Surcharges.
TaxonomyA separate category tree, so a channel can show its own catalogue. See Categories.
Value setThe list of options behind a dropdown, for example the interface languages or the shipping methods. See Value Sets.
Webshop accountA contact's or customer's login for the webshop. Created, deleted or re-invited from the company page. See Company Details.
WorkflowAn automation, usually built in n8n, that runs outside Propeller or embedded in it. See Agent Hub.
