Create Quote
Create a new quote, add products, set pricing and validity, then send the quote to your customer.

Before you begin
You need the Order and Sales roles, plus Owner access and the User role to create new quotes.
Create a new quote
- Go to Sales > Quotes in the sidebar.
- Click the New Quote button in the top right. A new browser tab opens with a blank quote editor.
Select the customer
- Use the company and contact selector to pick a company.
- Optionally select a contact person within that company.
- If multiple sales channels exist, choose the channel from the dropdown.
Set addresses
Select a shipping address from the customer's delivery addresses. Click the edit icon to modify the address in a dialog.
Select a billing address from the customer's invoice addresses.
Add products to the quote
There are three ways to add products:
- Add by code: Type a product SKU in the input field at the bottom of the product table and press Enter.
- Add multiple products: Opens a product picker dialog where you can browse, search and select multiple products.
- View company orders: Opens the company's order history so you can add items from previous orders.
Use View company orders for recurring customers. It shows what they ordered before so you can quickly rebuild a quote without searching the catalogue.

Edit product details
Drag and drop products to reorder them in the list. The drag handle is disabled for bonus items.
For each product in the list, you can edit:
- Notes: Per-line notes up to 100 characters.
- Sales discount %: Additional sales discount.
- Sales markup %: Sales markup percentage.
- Sales price: Final sales price per unit.
- Quantity: Order quantity (respects minimum quantity and step rules).

Apply incentives
Click Apply incentives to trigger business rule evaluation on the quote. Incentives can only be applied once. A confirmation dialog warns you before proceeding. This may add bonus items, apply discounts or adjust shipping and transaction costs.
Adjust totals
| Line | Description | Editable |

| Subtotal | Sum of all line totals | No |

| Transaction cost | Calculated automatically or set manually | Yes (toggle auto/manual) |
| Total excl. VAT | Total before tax | No |

| Total | Final total including tax | No |

Toggle shipping or transaction cost to manual when you have negotiated a custom rate with a customer.
Set the validity date
A date picker above the product table lets you set the quote's expiry date. Quick-set buttons are available for 7 days, 14 days and 30 days. An "Expired" indicator appears if the date has passed.
Ask your Propeller account manager to set a default validity date (for example one week) so you don't have to set it manually on every quote.

Send the quote to the customer
When the quote's current status is marked as public, the Send to client button becomes available. Click it to send a confirmation email to the customer.

A version history table shows all revisions of the quote with columns for version number, visibility (Invalid, Public or Draft), status, changed by, changed at and available actions. You can download a PDF of any revision or invalidate a revision when the tenant allows it.
